What makes a resume builder actually good
Fonts and graphics decide very little. What decides it is whether a truthful, readable document reaches a human reviewer without breaking in an applicant tracking system first. That means real text rather than images, one reading order rather than clever columns, standard section headings, and a layout that holds together when it is parsed.
It also means never quietly upgrading your job title or inventing a metric to fill a gap. A resume that reads well but contains a claim you cannot back up in an interview is worse than no resume at all. If a line needs your attention, we point it out; we do not quietly erase a real role or achievement, and we do not add one.

Templates are built for parsing and every export is format-checked. We say ATS-friendly and parse-checked, never ATS-proof, because no tool can promise a specific employer's result.
Do I have to start over for each job?

Do I get a cover letter too?
